I currently do full time Computer Engineering. In the past, I’ve worked with NVIDIA and Flipkart Health plus. I wear a lot of hats: from new-age tech to old-school classics, I’ve dabbled in it all. I get my kicks at the crossroads of tech, finance, and aviation.
I spend a significant portion of my time writing code and creating with technology. I believe in having passion for your product and attention to detail. Since I just love building things, I have a huge amount of side projects that I don’t really know what to do with!
I use Next.js, DRF, Flutter, Docker and GCP on a daily basis and love them. I try to build products that target mass and create value for them.
I’m often asked, “hey Ritik, what kind of programming do you do?”, and I never quite know how to answer. I do everything. Frontend! Backend! AI! Embedded hardware! Mobile apps! I find it immensely enjoyable to learn how shit works and go down rabbit holes, and I pick up whatever’s needed to build what I’m excited about.
I think aviation is pretty cool. I’ve got this thing for aviation. You know that TV show “Air Crash Investigation”? That’s where my love with airplanes started.
Right now, my jam is understanding the nuts and bolts of airplanes—Boeing, Airbus, you name it. I’m all about those technical deets. 🛠️✈️
I also enjoy playing flight simulators; I use Microsoft Flight Simulator in VR as well as FlightGear, and occasionally pilot or control on VATSIM. I mentioned travelling earlier: when I have the chance, I love flying as a passenger.
Here are some neat pictures of cessna that I hope to fly some day:

When I’m not chilling or not glued to programming, you’ll probably find me geeking out on how the world’s money game works. Ever wondered why the U.S. dollar seems to rule everything? Yeah, me too! I love digging into stuff like that. Politics, Sanctions, Global finance, Diplomacy – it’s like the ultimate game of chess, and I can’t get enough of it.
The large portion of my time awake is spent on latest buzz on currencies and how different countries stack up against each other.Honestly, I’m probably scrolling through some news about the economy right now.
When it comes to the world of finance, I’m not just skimming the surface with popular finance books. I’m diving deep into the intricacies of global economies, financial crises, and scandals that have shaped our world. 🌍💵
If you’ve ever been captivated by the Panama Papers or are still trying to dissect what exactly went down in 2008, we should talk. Movies like “Margin Call” and documentaries like “Inside Job” aren’t just films to me—they’re like textbooks that bring the complexities of finance to life. 🎥
Some of my favorite books that I can 100% recommend:
Recently, I’ve been getting into cricket as I’m exploring sports-related opportunities for my next project. While I suck, it’s the first physical activity that I’ve actually taken pleasure in!
And as always, feel free to shoot me an email or direct message anytime and for any reason :)
I used to have tons of featured public projects here, but right now most of the awesome side projects I’m working on alongside my job are private.
I’ve shifted my focus towards some super exciting yet confidential projects.
Here’s a semi-complete list of the major projects I’ve been working on, most of them are in WIP as great things take time:
Embera: I’m currently working on Embera, a groundbreaking device set to revolutionize live sports viewing. Imagine watching a cricket match without ads, replaced by content you love—movie clips, nature videos, or even LoFi music. This Raspberry Pi-powered device sits between your D2H and TV, seamlessly swapping out ads for your chosen content. The kicker? A WearOS app countdown alerts you seconds before ads kick in. Say goodbye to disruptive ads and hello to personalized sports experiences!
[PrivatePII]: I’m also developing a cutting-edge Chrome extension designed for the corporate world—it’s like Grammarly but for PII detection. The extension, combined with a Next.js application, scans through emails and documents in real-time to identify sensitive information. It not only flags it but also offers encryption solutions on the spot. Now, organizations can effortlessly adhere to compliance standards without breaking a sweat.

^ Here’s me on a cool Rocking Chair! See yaaaaaaaaaaa.
